We love sanding floors in Croton-on-Hudson

We love working in Croton-on-Hudson.  It's such a wonderful location and there are so many older homes with tons of character.  Many of the homes in Croton-on-Hudson are from the turn of century and there are also many treasured homes from the 1800's.  We've even done work in Croton on a house from 1769.  Our oldest house to date is from 1726.  It is such an honor and a pleasure to work in these homes and to think about the history that these homes have witnessed.

One of my favorite places in Croton is The Blue Pig.  I love ice cream, and this is just a notch above the rest with homemade ingredients.  What a treat!

Armonk - One of our favorite places to work

I've always loved the town of Armonk.  Ever since I was little I have fond memories of the place as every fall, we go to Schultz for fresh home made donuts and cider.  I also remember going to swim meets at Whippoorwill.

While I miss Schultz's (and long for it every fall), I do love the new town square shopping center.  You can often find me at Tazza.  I love their coffee, smoothies, chocolate ganache, and of course the free wi-fi.

Sometimes, it's easy to miss things

It's funny how when you go back to something with fresh eyes, you realize that it's easy to miss something the first time around.  This happens to me sometime especially when I'm tired.

A few years ago, I published a series of pages on my website for each town where we do hardwood flooring.  Today, I was testing to see how we we came up on the searches.  And, for one of the towns, my site didn't come up.  Hmmm.

So, I went to my site to try to find the page there, and lo and behold there was no page...and hence that's why it wasn't coming up when I typed in South Salem hardwood flooring and refinishing.  Well I fixed that today, so hopefully in the future, this page will come up and help those who live or are moving to South Salem.
